As you embark on this journey into medical school, I encourage you to REST and ENJOY THIS SUMMER.

I realised that at the rate I was going, I would look back on these years of my life and feel like all I did was study.

I wish I enjoyed MS1 more instead of being constantly consumed with the fear of failure. So that when I look back on this time, I can be glad I lived life to the fullest.

In medical school, there are good days and bad days. Your mood varies day to day and your productivity varies hour to hour.

There's so much to unpack and reflect on about my first 2 years aka Basic sciences. All in all, I'm grateful, blessed and humbled by the experience.
